About

Paul Day is a writer, actor, comic, musician and radio DJ, which is to say that he has a day-job and constantly gets in trouble with his boss.  Fortunately, he works for himself.

He performs in Boston and the surrounding area as Billy Bob Neck, a righteous religious conservative who thinks George Bush is the greatest president since Winston Churchill.  His song “The Sodomite’s Lament” won an honorable mention in the Rev. James A Dobson’s Songs To Stop People From Being Gay competition.

He also founded The Mercurial Radio Players, a sketch group that appears irregularly on WMFO 91.5FM in Medford (and not very far beyond that).  His radio show, Hbee Inc Radio, can be heard on Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm.  It is suggested that you listen to it on the web.
Paul started blogging shortly after he discovered the joys of referring to himself in the third person in early 2003.

    Hi,

I have a little radio program that runs on low power stations and Internet. I recently ran across your podcast description, one which included a song I have been looking for. We play lost oldies and rare recordings on the show and I would like to get a copy of ARTHUR GODFREY’s SLAP ‘ER DOWN AGAIN PA
This was on an old 78 my parents had and I haven’t been able to find it anywhere. Would it be possible (since that podcast has been taken down by the site owners due to some strange sound on the podcast, they say) to somehow get a copy either by email or otherwise. Please let me know. It’s a strange song, but I think people would be curious to hear it.
    Thanks!
